About care

What kind of care do you provide?

In addition to feeding, cleaning the litter box, and observing the cat's physical condition and excrement, we will also play with the cat and provide physical contact such as brushing depending on the cat's personality to reduce stress. If the cat is easily scared, we will quietly observe the cat. After we have finished caring for the cat, we will report back to you on how the cat is doing.

How long does it take to care for you?

It depends on the number of cats, but on average it takes about 1 to 2 hours.

How many times a day do you take care of them?

We offer one-day and two-day rates.

If you request once a day, we will usually visit you once at a time that is convenient for you to care for you. If you request twice a day, we will visit you once in the morning and once in the evening and provide care each time, but we will usually report back to you once a day after the evening care. If you would like more visits or reports, this is an option, so please let us know.

What to do if your cat starts to feel unwell?

If there is any change in the health of the pet, we will promptly contact the owner and discuss arrangements for transport to a regular veterinary hospital and treatment. If we are unable to contact the owner, we will take appropriate action at our discretion. Please note that all costs incurred in this case, including medical expenses and transportation costs, will be borne by the contract holder and will be billed at a later date.

What do you do when it suddenly gets hot or cold?

Please note that we may adjust the air conditioning at our discretion depending on the temperature and weather conditions.

Can you take care of my cat like a pet hotel?

Cats are animals that are sensitive to changes in their environment. Stress is significantly reduced if they are left alone in their familiar home. In order to reduce the burden on your cat, Amami Cat Club only provides care at home.

Can I have a dog please?

We are currently not accepting dog care.

About fees

When is the busy season?

The period is during the New Year's holiday, Golden Week, Silver Week, and Obon (New Obon and Old Obon). Detailed dates will be provided at the time of signing the contract.

What payment methods do you accept?

In addition to bank transfer, various credit cards and QR code payments are also accepted at Cafe COVO TANA stores.

Can I pay later?

Fees are paid in advance. If you pay by bank transfer, we ask that you pay at least two days before the start of care, and if you pay by cash, please pay by the day before. However, if options are added during the care period or the period is shortened or extended, we will recalculate the amount and refund it at a later date, or request a settlement. Please note that any bank transfer fees etc. incurred will be borne by the owner.

Are there any cancellation fees?

If a cancellation occurs the day before or on the day of the event, a cancellation fee will be charged. 50% the day before and 100% the day of the event. All fees excluding the cancellation fee, and bank transfer fees in the case of refunds by bank transfer, will be refunded at a later date.

What should be confirmed in the pre-meeting?

万が一の時のための備えとして、猫ちゃんのマイクロチップ・市町村登録番号、健康状態や持病、かかりつけの動物病院、お世話中の注意点など、出来るだけ詳しい情報を教えていただいています。また、立ち入ってほしくない部屋やエリアも事前に確認させていただきます。またその場合は、施錠していただくことをお願いしております。さらに、猫の飼育エリア・当社シッターの立ち入り可能エリアへは貴重品や危険物の保管はせず、立ち入りのできない場所等へ移動していただくようお願いしております。

私共のキャットシッター業務は、飼い主様の留守中またはおでかけ中に、猫ちゃんのみのお世話をする業務です。抜け毛やトイレ周りの必要最低限の掃除はいたします。また、融通のつく範囲内でオプションに記載がある項目に限りお引き受けいたしますが、それ以外の業務はお引き受けできない事をご了承ください。

Can I specify a time?

原則、時間指定は承っておりませんが、午前・午後の2・3時間の範囲内でのご要望には対応するようにしております。その場合はオプション料金を頂戴しております。

Can I specify a sitter?

原則、シッターの指名は承っておりませんが、どうしてもという場合はオプション料金を頂戴しております。

About the key

Can I mail the key?

We also accept keys by mail. In that case, we ask that you send them at least two days in advance. If you are bringing them in person, we ask that you send them at least one day in advance.

Can I have the key returned by mail?

If you wish to return the item by mail, an optional fee of ¥550 (tax included) will be charged.

Can I have the key kept for you?

Once your appointment is complete, we ask that you collect the key as soon as possible.

However, we may be able to keep your data for frequent customers. During the time we keep your data, we will keep it under strict control and use it only for business purposes. We will not copy it or lend or transfer it to third parties. Please feel free to contact us.
